Jeremy Morin, 20, has been recalled to the Chicago Blackhawks from the Rockford IceHogs for the first time this year.

Morin has put up 5 goals and 15 points in 23 games along with 56 PIMs in the AHL this season. Last year he played 9 games for the Blackhawks potting 2 goals and 3 points total.

He's too modest, though.

I thought about that too, but I think he'd have been the call up instead of Smith the other day if he wasn't suspended for three games.

He looked good tonight IMO. Very noticable.

I thought Morin was a RW? Not sure I like him on the top line but he didn't look bad I guess. I think he might fit more on the 3rd line.

So what's everyone's take on Morin last night?

I wasn't overly impressed to be honest.

I couldn't tell, I didn't have an HD feed so basically there were red blobs and white blobs moving around and a black couple of pixels that I could never focus on

First game back up and after a three game suspension.

What did you expect?

Well he was playing with Kane and Toews....

Doesn't mean much, got to give him a few games to develop some chemistry with them. Q won't do that but that's what needs to happen

Q needs another 600 wins before he learns how to coach. Hopefully he caan get them faster this time.

Lol!

And I wasn't knocking Morin at all just saying he didn't overly impress me in last nights game. I still think he could be being showcased... not really any other reason that Q would throw him right on the top line. We will see.

Not noticeable or unnoticeable. Don't love or hate him, really no impression at all of him without some more games. Either way, i'm excited for him. Hope he does well enough to stick and stays away from the injuries. Best of luck to him and if he's going to be with Kane and Toews I pray he gets the production up before he starts getting shuffled.

Bad hit... other player laid motionless on ice and had to be carried off on a stretcher.
